| INTENT The sensuality of the beach, the sand, blue summer skies, hot sun and the male form inspire me to pick up the paint brush.
Summers at Sandy Hook, New Jersey and Provincetown, Massachusetts have offered the imagery of my work.
When painting the male form, my intent is an expression of peaceful sensuality. I narrow my palette to a few colors to maintain this feeling.
Most of my work is a document of the people in my life; past and present. Sometimes the figure may be a stranger encountered on the beach that begins to write a visual story.
On a larger scale, I would wish for my work to convey the constancy of love, desire and nature. | |
